Renovation Consulting & Project Servicing Fees (Good until 12/31/2026)

There are many factors that exist in one’s development,
most of which begin at home.
As a HUD-Approved FHA 203(k) Renovation Consultant, Desired Home Inspections LLC provides comprehensive renovation consulting, project management oversight, and compliance services throughout greater New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Fees are structured in accordance with HUD guidelines and industry standards.
Feasibility Study
Before beginning a renovation project, borrowers, lenders, and investors may request a Feasibility Study to determine whether the proposed renovation is practical, financially viable, and eligible for financing. This service is subject to the Consultant’s availability.

Work Write-Up (WWU) & Specification of Repairs (SOR)
The Work Write-Up serves as the foundation of the renovation project and includes a detailed Scope of Repairs, cost analysis, contractor guidance, and lender-required documentation.

Material Draw Fee
A material draw advance may be requested by the contractor and/or homeowner for up to 50% of the material budget. Our consultant charges a fee to review, endorse, and reconcile disbursement records along the appropriate renovation line items. Our firm does not outsource our responsibility to the lender or loan servicing company.

Draw Inspections
As renovation work progresses, draw inspections verify completed work prior to the release of renovation funds.
Services include:
- On-site progress verification
- Work completion assessment
- Draw request validation
- Lender reporting and documentation
Fee: $375 Up to $375 per inspection (Additional Mileage & Toll fees may apply)
Change Order Reviews
Renovation projects occasionally require modifications due to unforeseen conditions, material substitutions, or scope changes. Change Orders help ensure the project remains compliant and properly documented.
Services include:
- Change request review
- Revised cost analysis
- Scope modification documentation
- Lender and borrower support
Fee: $120 per Change Order
Reinspections
When additional verification of a repair item or corrective work is requested by the borrower, lender, contractor, or other stakeholders, a reinspection may be required.
Fee: $225 per reinspection (Additional Mileage & Toll fees may apply)
